About

Mission
To build a worldwide community for People With Narcolepsy.

Vision
To be the premiere online support resource for People With Narcolepsy and related conditions.

Philosophy
Bite Size Life believes technology can improve the quality of life for PWNs. As the premiere destination for PWNs around the world, we promise to stay informed of the latest technology and to share it with the community.

Why “Bite Size Life”?
Because Narcolepsy interrupts the otherwise normal routine of people who have the condition, a PWN’s life is prone to being experienced in bite-size morsels. As a community, it is believed and shared that Narcolepsy and Narcolepsy with Cataplexy is a condition, and not a name tag that defines us.

    Hi again Stu,

I was just perusing the “Philosophy” of Bite Size Life, and yeah!! Technology! I just showed the Livescribe Pulse SmartPen to two narcoleptic highschool and college students, and they about went cataplectic with excitement. And the Sonic Boom Bedshaker alarm clock is the ONE AND ONLY alarm clock that can wake me up (well, at least it wakes me up most of the time. Once it didn’t, and my poor 16 year old daughter was terrified, thinking I had died in my sleep.) So anyway, I hope there’s a way to get the word out that those two particular pieces of technology exist. They’re wildly helpful to me, and though I have researched and researched, I have found nothing else like either one of them.

    Warmly,

    CarbonSpaceMonkey,

Sorry for my very slow response here. Just Google “Sonic Boom Alarm Clock,” and you’ll find lots of places through which to order the alarm clocks. Good luck with it!
